Open-access SPECIAL EDUCATION POLICY IN BRAZIL: DISPUTES AND CONSERVATISM (2022 AND 2023)

ABSTRACT

This article aims to analyze Special Education policies during the period from 2022 to 2023, in view of the limits, advances and setbacks, its content and support will be based on historical and dialectical materialism. Documents released by political and civil society during this period were analyzed. In this direction, based on the political-educational analysis, it presents from the perspective of neoliberalism the transformations and impacts in the period from 2022 to 2023 and indicates that there is no progress, because both educational projects are conservative and deepen the privatization of education.
