ABSTRACT
In this study, the aim is to analyze the implications of introducing digital technologies and platforms into the work processes of school administrators. We conducted a systematic review of Brazilian academic production on the topic, searching two databases: the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes) Theses and Dissertations Catalog – specifically for doctoral theses –; and the Portal de Periódicos da Capes – limited to articles. We chose not to apply a time frame to capture the historical trajectory of the production. We identified five main topics that characterize the school administrator’s work with the use of these platforms: lack of preparation; ease of use; extended work hours; control; and bureaucratization.
