ABSTRACT
This article aimed to evaluate the presence of digital technologies in Brazilian schools during the suspension of classroom activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The methodological procedures consisted of a qualitative analysis of data on the impact of the pandemic in schools collected through the Basic Education School Census in 2020 and 2021. It was found that digital technologies were used, but with very precarious access conditions, in the face of an uncertain reality about health conditions and the return to classroom activities.
