ABSTRACT
This article presents a review of theoretical and empirical studies on teaching work on digital platforms, prioritizing research that addresses basic education. We seek to explore aspects that contribute to understanding the origin and main related phenomena, highlighting, in particular, the relationships between the platformization of work in education and the reorganization of the State, as well as the phenomenon of EdTechs. The review shows the tensions and challenges faced, as well as the manifestations of resistance by teachers, highlighting the role played by care as a category of mediation in the forms of struggle of female teachers.
