Minas are many, but there's no need to exaggerate: local identity and resistance to pentecostalism in Minas Gerais

This study analyzes the variables that contribute to the asymmetry in what regards religious adhesion in the state of Minas Gerais. As we can observe through the numbers that emerge from the last census by IBGE (2000), great part of the state territory is one of the hardest regarding the pentecostal growth, becoming, with some other states, as one of the advanced trenches of the Catholic resistance.
