ABSTRACT
Two species of Pinus (Pinus elliottii and Pinus taeda) were utilized for the present study. Regression equations were adjusted in function of moisture content and shrinkage values in three different grain angles (30°, 45° and 90°). High correlation coefficients were found between shrinkage and moisture content from P.S.F. to 0% on the different grain angles. The adjusted equations can be used for the estimation of shrinkage (radial and tangential) for similar situations.
