SUMMARY
The wood anatomy of Mimosa incana (Spreng.) Benth. is described. They are furnished measurements of 29 features of its anatomical structure. The description is illustrated with photomicrographs of the three anatomical sections. The wood anatomy of Mimosa incana shows a high level of phylogenetic specialization and many anatomical features that indicate its positioning in family Leguminosae, sub-family Mimosoideae and series Lepidotae Benth.
