ABSTRACT
The digitalisation of public services represents a strategy to improve the efficiency of public administration, although its implementation faces some challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic was a catalyst for the advancement of this digitalisation, accelerating the adoption of digital technologies across various spheres of public administration. This study conducts a bibliomentic analysis of the literature, examining 71 articles selected from the Web of Science database using VOSViewer software. The analysis revealed an increasing integration of digital tools in public policy formulation and organisational adaptation within a digital environment. Key themes include digital transformation, innovation, information technology, performance, and digital governance. Authors such as David J. Teece, the European Commission, and the OECD are among the most frequently cited, reflecting the importance of these institutions and scholars in the field. The findings provide an overview of the current literature and point towards future directions in the field of public service digitalisation.
