Abstract:
This work presents a survey of the scientific production on the teaching of Sociology in High School education presented in the Brazilian Congress of Sociology (CBS) of the Brazilian Society of Sociology (SBS), during the years 2005 to 2015, comprising ten years of ongoing systematic discussions about the teaching of Sociology in school. The analyzed aspects related on: (1) the quantitative development; (2) the themes researched; (3) the character of methodological and theoretical bases; (4) the actors and institutions involved in the academic-professional interest on the teaching of Sociology in basic education. Focused are the configuration of human networks of researchers and of a regional axis research production and dissemination. It is suposed that the quantitative increase contributes in a significant way in the qualitative development of research and the construction of knowledge on the subject of the teaching of sociology in basic school.
