In this article, the author justifies the importance that has the editorial work done by Colli and Montinari for the philosophical comprehension of Nietzsche's philosophy in the 20th century. He thus, considers the exhaustive work with the sources of quotes from the philosopher and with annotations and letters, a lot of them new, or considered irrelevant by some researchers, or used in an arbitrary and decontextualized way, can if well organized, supply precious information to the definition of Nietzsche philosophical identity. And, for that he argues the necessity of stressing the philological activity of Nietzsche himself. He then stresses, at last, how useful is the apparatus for the organization of the nietzschean writings done by Colli and Montinari, that allowed the correction of historical mistakes of interpretation.
