FUNGICIDES EFFICIENCY ON COLLETOTRICHUM LINDEMUTHIANUM CONTROL IN BEAN COMMON CULTURE

SUMMARY It was conducted experiments during 1990/91, 1991/92 and 1992/93 with the objective to evaluate the efficiency of Thiophanate Methyl, Chlorothalonil, Thiophanate Methil and Chlorothalonil, Fentin Triphenyl Hidroxide, Maneb, Benomyl, Procloraz and Propiconazol on anthracnose (Colletotrichum lindemuthianum) control. "Guateian 6662" and "Turrialba 4" (1990/91). "FT 83-120" (1991/92 and 1992/93 years periods) cultivars were utilized. The experimental design was complete random block with split piot (1990/91) and complete random block (1991/92 and 1992/93), with four replications. The fungicides spraying was done with a atomizer in base of 300 liters/ha. The spraying was done on V4 (3rd trifoliate leaf), R5 (preflowering) and R8 (pod filling). The parameters utilized for evaluation were yield/ha and disease severity on leaves and pods. The results obtained showed increased yield and decreased disease severity.
