Abstract
This article presents the results of a collaborative research project, situated in applied and interdisciplinary linguistic studies. The research team conducted it to ensure sustainable pedagogical work on study of Portuguese grammar in native language classes, in the second stage of Elementary School, especially in Brazilian public educational institutions. Thus, the objective was to describe the conception of linguistic analysis produced in the project, considering the examination of an educational game made available in a virtual teaching laboratory, also created by educators representing elementary school and university. Teachers mediated a contextualized linguistic analysis approach in school investigative practices of the native language itself, based on assumptions of scientific education, the articulation between the theories of traditional grammar and systemic-functional linguistics, and other theoretical sources from which fundamental concepts were selected by the research team. To this end, it was necessary to collaboratively produce different educational materials, composed of multimodality, given the diversity of selected textual genres and the guaranteed mix of media, colors, images, music, sounds and movements. In addition to direct contributions to Portuguese language classes, the research team expected that, indirectly, the research will contribute to popularizing language sciences beyond school borders.
