Evaluation of the "japonese model" of organization and industrial relations, starting from the analysis of the dinamic of the technical performance in Japan, and studying the way workers participate in the innovations, to discuss finally the social conditions of the Japanese industrial efficiency, underlying the cost and the growing contradictions of the "model".
