Abstract

Objective:

To assess the prevalence of vaccination and monitoring post-vaccination against hepatitis B immunization Among nursing staff.

Methods:

A cross-sectional study Conducted Among all nursing workers of a university hospital. Statistical Analyzes Were Performed in SPSS version 18.0 software. The association between the verification report of post-vaccination immunity and the independent variables was investigated using bivariate analysis, Followed by multivariate logistic regression analysis by.

Results:

Of the 371 workers, 67.1% did not VERIFY the hepatitis post-vaccination immunity B. The prevalence of found who Those the immunization was greater Among Those Who Have Been vaccinated, the men, Those who participated in training in relation to the worker's health and Among Those Who do not are sedentary.

Conclusion:

Ignorance Contributes to the non-vaccination and for not checking the immunization. It Suggests the need for educational campaigns and prevention of hepatitis B.
