The meanings of thinking/doing in the nurse practice: a systematic review in REBEn's articles in the period of 1932 - 1971

The research had as objective to analyze in a comprehensive way the attributed meaning to thinking/doing in the nurse practice. Was used the systematic literature review method with dialogic nursing conception and Martin Heidegger's point of view interpretation. The sample was composed by thirty and three publications, selected from the Brazilian Magazine of Nursing in the period between 1932 and 1971. The texts analysis revealed that the thinking/doing walked from a essential technical Nursing to a relational Nursing that aimed essentially the social world and of health. After arise the dialogical Nursing, established in the nurse/client relationship trough the bridge build by the systematization of the assistance to the clients. Thus, the Brazilian Nursing demonstrated the search for an own and authentic professional habitat, but end restricted itself to the academic world trough the last 30 years. Nowadays, I believe it must be urgent to the Nursing community to discuss its epistemological specificies contributing to an own social and professional habitat.
