Education, inclusion, and work: a necessary debate

The inclusion of people with disabilities in different environments - school, social, and labor - has been discussed, but apparently few advances were made in Brazil. In the different dimensions of inclusion, new challenges are marked by old barriers and stigmas. The inclusion at different levels of the formal K-12 education is a distant reality yet. This paper aims to present a theoretical analysis from the research undertaken about the inclusion in the labor market, focusing on the observation of solutions used in these environments by means of assistive technologies, allowing not only the inclusion of people with disabilities, but also the qualification and improvement of their professional development. This research aims to organize and promote solutions in a virtual library, providing free access and making it easy to search and retrieve information.
