The Still Unsuspected Lessons of Michel Foucault about Human Formation

Alexandre Simão de Freitas About the author

Thirty years after his death, educators still are haunted with the ghostly faces of Michel Foucault. The reactivation of the notion of care of the self has resulted in a new description on the uses of his toolbox, posing again some questions repressed by the pedagogical project of modernity. Thus, our aim is to explore some elements of Foucault's ethical and spiritual legacy, in view of the agency of other processes about human formation.
