Nucleation of Schools in the Countryside: conflicts between training and uprooting

Abstract:

This article aims to analyze the reasons that led to the nucleation of schools located in the rural areas of municipalities located in the Paraíba state brejo, from the points of view of those involved in this action. The methodological approach was organized based on a qualitative analysis. Following the research, it was observed that the argument that the nucleation of schools contributes to the improvement in the organization of teaching was not confirmed. It is highlighted that the closure of schools has collaborated with the departure of residents from the countryside to the city, interfering with the formation of the identity and enabling the uprooting of peasants.
