When discussing the quality of education, issues often arise related to labor and teachers' salaries which, in turn, raises the issue of the educational financing. In this way, in order to discuss the relationship between teacher salaries, financing and quality of basic education in Brazil, this paper presents results of a bibliographic documentary survey that having as the analyses corpus educational and economic studies and documents related to teachers' salaries produced by international organizations like the World Bank and UNESCO. It was observed that the remuneration of teachers is an important element in improving the quality of education and that is directly related to financial resources to it.
