Representations of Childhood in Pedagogical Discourses: mutations and temporalities

Abstract:

The present study analyzes representations of childhood in pedagogical discourses with the purpose of detecting mutations that occurred in the child-student image in modernity. The main hypothesis of this article assumes that the different images of childhood forged under Pedagogy are intrinsically linked to changes in the relationship of modern societies with temporality.
