Polysemic interlocutions between ethnomathematics and distinct ethno-x knowledge fields

Local knowledge interrelationship related to assorted academic knowledge areas is important to enable a more precise understanding about a particular study field. Here, these interrelations are clearly addressed, especially wherever one needs to understand specific concepts acquired in academic knowledge broadly-based on biology, ecology and mathematics; which may be supported by newer research fields called ethnobiology, ethnoecology and ethnomathematics. This theoretical article essentially considers the emergence of important terminologies connected to certain research areas referred as ethno-x. By being guiding into a deeper and wider bibliographic study, the central theme of ethno-x is an attempt to understand polysemical relations for terms indeed emphasize the ethno. The main goal in this discussion is to advance the research and understanding on the context of an ethnomathematics research program and its polysemic relation with other knowledge field.
