ABSTRACT
This article aimed to analyze the theoretical and classificatory efforts undertaken by three scholars in the interdisciplinary field of Brazilian Social and Political Thought: André Botelho and the sequences; Gildo Marçal Brandão and the lines; and Sergio Tavolaro and the regularities in dispersion. In examining the contours and contents of the groupings proposed by each author, the analysis focuses on their conceptual and methodological foundations, as well as their theoretical interlocutions. A final section highlights the confluences and contrasts not only in relation to the materials addressed but also to the analytical instruments employed.
