Abstract
For more than two decades, Chile has promoted important initiatives of greater coverage and quality of early childhood education, which require - for their sustainability - to reinforce the management processes of the educational centers, a problem that does not have systematic antecedents. In response to this situation, we seek to identify the obstacles that preschool centers directors and educators consider to be the most important, in order to propose policies for their improvement. In this context, this study (exploratory-qualitative) was developed, based on an open response questionnaire. The results identify key problems that require prompt attention, in order to contribute to the greater impact of the indicated initiatives.
