Constitutionality regarding racial quotas in public universities in Brazil: international approach and post-trial'challenges

This article analyses questions related to the constitutionality of racial quotas in Brazil, showing various divergent positions about this topic. It deals with the origin of affirmative actions in the United States, in France and also the limitations to apply these experiences into the Brazilian reality. It also presents some brief remarks on the trial of the constitutionality of quotas held by ministers of the Brazilian Supreme Court and the main challenges that must be faced by universities.
