Ana Maria F. Almeida is Associate Professor at the University of Campinas School of Education, Brazil (FE/Unicamp). Her research examines the contribution of education for the production and reproduction of inequalities.
Manuel Alejandro Giovine is Assistant Professor at the School of Communication Sciences at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC) in Argentina. A PhD student in Instituto de Humanidades (Conicet), his doctorate research examines the educational strategies of dominant groups in Córdoba, Argentina.
Maria Teresa G. Alves is Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais School of Education (FE/UFMG), and Coordinator of the Research Center on Educational Inequalities (Nupede). She studies school effects on student performance and the contextual differences of schools and educational systems.
Sandra Ziegler is Professor at the Center for Formation and Research on Science Teaching at the University of Buenos Aires, and researcher at the Faculdad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO/Argentina). She studies teaching and curricular policies, secondary education, and elite formation.
