Ecological Psychology and the study of daily life events

In this paper the authors discuss the relationship between Ecological Psychology (or Environmental Psychology) and the context of daily life events. With this purpose in mind a historical development of Ecological Psychology is offered, since the contributions of Kurt Lewin, the pioneer Roger G. Barker and followers, up to the present expansions of the area. Furthermore, this paper particularly discusses relevant aspects of the concept of behavior setting, such as the limitations and perspectives of Barker's creation, the expansion of behavior setting analysis, and its applicability to different life sectors.
