"Working with arms and mind to see the future": representations on education among rural workers settled through the agrarian reform

Paper that discusses the subject of education as a social representation among rural workers settled agrarian reform. In this context, the inclusion of these subjects marked by the exclusion of basic rights in the struggle for land spread the hope of starting a new trajectory of life from the conquest of land and other rights that follow the ownership and consolidation of the settlement, as work, income, school, a piece of land or a house to live. The valuation of schooling among adults is a ditty settlers crossed by "noise" as the personal histories of exclusion from school, roaming the systematic - Seated before the condition - that makes every new place of arrival in time for reordering of life and probation; experiences of rebuilding the gift that is established when it is pitched and then seated, and also by the abandonment with the public over the years have dealt with the demands set of socio-economic-cultural settled populations.
