The differences of homogeneity: elements to the study of educational politics in Latin American

In the last 10 years, almost all the Latin American countries have started educational reforms that are, supposedly, preceded by the studies of the international organisms. These studies should revealed their success and deficiencies compared with the changes defined by the reestructuration of the world economic order in the 80 and 90 years. Generally, these studies showed similar problems in the different countries in this region, that justified the possibility of conceivable educational reforms of homogeneous feature to the majority of the Latin America countries. From this set, this research aims to do the analysis of the relative state-society in the process of constitution of educational politics, as well as identify how the new public and private spaces are built, and the contradictions that have been established between educational system and social organization, searching to recognize in these contradictions, the elements of the national culture and the elements that result from the orientations imposed by the international organisms.
