Education and law: challenges for learning political and democratic culture

ABSTRACT:

Analyzes, under the sociopolitical perspective, the relationship between education and law and as both converge to the citizen's political learning, the formation of civic culture and strengthening of democratic culture. The theoretical contributions are anchored in recognized contributions in the field of political sociology, with emphasis on the authors that emphasize the political role of education in democratic societies, such as Max Weber and Hannah Arendt. The conclusions highlight the contributions of these authors to the understanding of social inclusion of education policy in their daily relations and building practices, interpretation and sharing of meaning in the living world, space in which the political learning is applied at the concrete level of human existence.
