ABSTRACT:
This article proposes a reflection about the role reserved to the teacher in the discourse that constitutes education today. The technical and methodological dimension of the teaching function seems to occupy in this discourse a prominent place, so that the educational act, its purpose and objectives come to be perceived as something that can be measured and controlled. Moving in the opposite direction, from a dialogue with philosophy and psychoanalysis, we seek to discuss about the possibility of restoring to the educational act its authorial dimension and to the teacher a place of enunciation in his own name.
