Is evaluated the impact in work and income produced by beneficiaries of the Program Education and Literacy of young and adults in Cartagena and Cordoba Department. The study is supported on the theory of human capacities and the descriptive statistics. Some of the achievements are the increase of job opportunities, the application of new concepts, as opposed weaknesses identified himself as the little support and little variation of income. It’s concludedthat education by itself does not guarantee access to a decent job neither a conscious participation in the transformation of context.
