The bread of the right to education...

This paper unfolds the following arguments: The right to education is a priority right. It is not a right to mediocre education, but to an education fashioned with the quality of a human right. Driven by the world globalization, neo-liberalism is an economical ideology whose business logic is adverse to the human rights Ethics. The alternative to the neo-liberal globalization is to achieve the right to develop as a "meta-right", that is, the right to a development process that respects and favors the fulfillment of all the rights. Respecting, protecting and fulfilling all the human rights and especially the right to education is the main obligation of the Rule of Law. The right to education is a new paradigm to rethink education, transfigure school and re-create the identity of the education professionals.

Right to education; Neo-liberalism; Right to development; Obligations of the State; New paradigm
