ABSTRACT:
The article analyzes the financing structure of education provided by the Federal Constitution. Its main changes are analyzed, in particular the constitutionalization of the special funds for basic education (Fundef and Fundeb) and the principle of the minimum quality standard of education (CAQi). Finally, some effects of this financing model are analyzed, particularly with regard to federative issues and the reduction of inequalities.
