Children and young people are increasingly placed in untenable positions with regard to their right to civic representation and their access to public city spaces. To resolve this impasse, they often take matters into their own hands. With this paper, I focus on the Izbrisanimovement in Slovenia and the Pingüinos' revolution in Chile through ideas developed by spatial theorists and geo-political philosophers in combination with my own work on young people's political formation to suggest ways that children, urban space and politics can be re-imagined
