Open-access The Building of Wooden Blocks with Eucalyptus paniculata for Transportation of Steel Plates

This study examined the viability of the use of Eucalyptus paniculata wood in the manufacturing of wooden blocks, evaluated whether the area used in the pads was enough to the strain, and compared it to Corymbia citriodora wood - already used. The moisture, bulk density, maximum force and the new normal compression contact area were determined. The data showed that Eucalyptus paniculata wood can be used as a prop for the transportation of steel plates and that the wooden block area already used is large enough.
