Open-access URBAN TREES PLANNING, MAINTENANCE AND SOCIAL ASPECTS IN ECOLOGIA DISTRICT, SEROPÉDICA -RJ

The conflicts among urban trees, urban development and fellowship are constant. A street arboricultural analyze in Ecologia District (Seropédica - RJ), revealed the pressures suffered by trees in places without urban infrastructure elements. It was also observed a social interaction with the urban trees, demonstrating the importance of the community’s participation in the planning and handling actions.
