Open-access FOREST INVENTORY OF NATIVE RUBBER TREES AT A RUBBER TREE AREA OF THE OCCIDENTAL AMAZONIA

This research had as objective to carry out the forest inventory of native rubber trees (Hevea brasiliensis Mull. Arg.) at a rubber tree area of the Occidental Amazonia. The Process of Simple Random Sampling was applied (SRS), using the rubber tree track as unit of sample. The following estimates for the averages had been gotten, for rubber tree track: i) rubber tree: total 115; in explotation: 100; ii) basal area: 18.78 m2; iii) volume of the stem portion explored: 62.2 m3. It concluded that the originality from the inventory resides at the approach of the variables and in the application from the sampling method, which to consider the rubber tree truck as unit of sampling.
