A ARBORIZAÇÃO URBANA DA CIDADE DE ITAGUAÍ-RJA survey of urban trees, based on 30 sampling points ( each point representing almost 800 meters of sidewalk), was performed on Itaguai downtown. There exist a very small percentage (0.03%) of urban trees compared with the recomended levels cited in the literature; the most commom species were Delonix regia, Magnifera indica and Eugenia jambolana.
