The evolution of logistics relationships has brought positive results, but it also has become the source of failures and disappointments for many companies highlighting the need to seek effective methods to measure the efficiency and monitor the performance of logistics operators. The Multicriteria Decision Aid - Constructivist (MCDA-C) approach can fulfill this need since it assists decision makers in understanding the relevant consequences of the alternatives of specific complex contexts and choosing adequate decisions. In this context, this study proposes a model to evaluate the performance of Logistic Providers considering the continuing improvement of the logistic chain focusing on customer needs. Hence, a case study was carried out in a Brazilian textile industry using MCDA-C as an intervention tool since it enables: i) the identification of the issues considered the most important in their logistics chain; ii) the construction of scales to measure the contribution of the Logistic Provider to each indicator mentioned in the previous item iii) a process for the operators to improve their performance. The evaluation model proposed allowed the development of strategies to improve the Logistic Providers of the company analyzed.
