This article deals with the environmentalization of social conflicts related to the construction of a new social question, a new public question. Like other similar processes, the historical process of environmentalization implies simultaneously changes in the State and in the behavior of people at work, in day-to-day life and in leasure, processes which we analyze in order to deal with the environmental question as a new source of legitimatization an of argumentation in conflicts.
