Abstract
This study examines the process of building pedagogical thinking in educational informatics in the municipal network of Caxias do Sul-RS between 1992 and 2012, highlighting changes in pedagogical practices and conceptions in schools. Using documentary research methodologies, oral history, and content analysis, this article aims to present some methodological possibilities in the light of digital history. Additionally, it offers didactic procedures for historical research using databases, data mining, and word clouds. The results reveal a complex pedagogical relationship, based on constructivist currents, with exponents such as Jean Piaget, Seymour Papert, and Paulo Freire. These theoretical approaches were fundamental for the implementation and development of innovative educational practices, promoted by a network of educators engaged in educational informatics. The results show how this pedagogical thinking significantly influenced education in the city, marking a period of transformations in teaching and learning.
