CRAFT ARTIFACTS: THE COLLECTION OF THE MOTHER OF GOD COLLEGE AND ITS POTENTIAL FOR RESEARCH IN THE HISTORY OF EDUCATION AND TEACHING IN LONDRINA

Abstract

This work aims to present the collection of the Mother of God College, an institution of basic confessional education, which emerged in the city of Londrina in 1936 as a place to preserve the remnants of the material culture of the school and, consequently, as a privileged site for research in history of education and teaching. The collection consists of documents such as class diaries, school records, meeting minutes, curricula, bulletins, notebooks, manuals, books, letters, tickets, invitations, certificates, sanitary wallet, teaching programs, Photographs, LPs, paintings, furniture, trophies, scores, as well as documents linked to the music faculty brought from Germany by the sisters along with the Suzuki teaching method of this discipline.
