Abstract
The present study aims at problematizing the upheaval of the 1918 University Reform of Córdoba, Argentina, and its impacts on Latin American Universities throughout the 20th century. To this end, the article analyzes a student-proclaimed manifest , considering, above all, the effects of student insurrection for the making of university structures in the region. Finally, research shows how the Córdoba Reform was decisive for the continent, even though its effects on discussions on Brazilian higher education were felt much later.
