The new-liberal Europe trap

In France, the referendum campaign, the elites and communitarian institutions' stubbornness, and finally the defeat of European constitution project brought to light the absolutely heavy europeist ideology, the overthrow and renouncement of social-democracy, as well as the deeply anti-democratic feature of European construction. The European project is completely inserted in a globalization process, aiming at settling an economic and financial transatlantic integration, through a close partnership with the United States. Such euro-american Europe is supporting the English-American neo-liberal capitalistic pattern. Progressively cutting down powers of European nation-states, the European Union is preparing, since its very beginning, a "governance" space accession, exhausting out democracy of its essence since the European institutional technostructure does not indeed transfer sovereignty of a state to a super-state but dilutes any sovereignty into a rational management of people and things. Supporting the globalization and domination of the worldwide neo-liberal ideology progress, this European project is proceeding with a political and democratic disarming of its state-members. Rediscovering the idea of nation in its modernity would certainly be another way to building a real Europe, Europe as a space of political life;not as a mystical creed.
