Abstract:
The ethical-political component in Paul Ricœur’s phenomenology of memory is the focus of this research. The interpretation is developed from the hypothesis in which would a shift in emphasis from Ricœur’s philosophy of history toward ethical-political plane of human historicity. The strategy chosen in the investigation was the reading of works that cover the final part of Ricœur’s philosophical path. Hence, we focus phenomenology of memory as a device for making sense of past.
