In this paper nine species of the genus Ceratolejeunea Jack & Steph. are reported to Bahia, Brazil, and five of them are recorded by the first time for the State. Data on habitat, substrates, and geographic distribution are given and discussed; the morphological characters important to the circumscriptions of the species, are commented. A key to the species is also provided.
