Collectives for the National Humanization Policy (PNH): co-management in action

This paper had the aims of describing the process of forming different arrangements for the internal functioning of the National Humanization Policy (PNH) since its creation in 2003, and characterizing the collectives as levels of co-management. Co-management is a structural guideline for the PNH, and experimentation has revealed disputes regarding knowledge and power, and interpersonal and intergroup tensions. Carrying out co-analysis, co-decision-making and co-responsibility is the basis of healthcare work, and is a process that seeks to reshape traditional management methods.
