Open-access Visions of Local Development: an comparative analysis of Brazilian Experiences

The idea of local development is controversial and presents little consensus both in Brazil and in international debate. The paper discusses the local development by an exploratory analysis in comparative perspective. Reflect on local development unfolds on two fronts: a logic of reproduction of capitalist in a localised scale (traditional) and other of counter-hegemonic attempts (solidarity).
