Abstract:
The objective of this study was to diagnose and quantify the generation of domestic solid waste (RSD) in the Rio das Cobras indigenous land, Nova Laranjeiras, PR. An average of 0.09 kg.habitant-1day-1 was obtained. Although RSD production is small, it is important to highlight the importance of public policies and environmental education actions that minimize the impacts of waste on the environment and the physical and cultural well-being of indigenous peoples.
