Electrochemical behavior of hexamethylbenzene isocloso ruthenium-borane complex [(C6Me6)-isocloso-1-RuB9 H9] was investigated at a glassy carbon electrode in 0.1 mol L-1 tetrabutyl ammonium perchlorate dissolved in methylene chloride, at - 20 ºC < T < 21 ºC using convolutive cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry and chronopotentiometry techniques. The chemical and electrochemical parameters of the investigated complex have been determined and confirmed via digital simulation method. Low-temperature diffusion coefficient and heterogeneous electron transfer kinetics of the complex [(C6Me6)-isocloso-1-RuB9 H9] were reported. On the basis of the obtained data, the electrode reaction of the complex [(C6Me6)-isocloso-1-RuB9 H9] was suggested and discussed.
